I am a qualified neuro nurse in Cambridge. I have worked in Cambridge Hospital for 16 years and started off as a Auxiliary nurse, where I worked in neuro as well for 7 yrs. I have also been a NVQ Assessor for 4 yrs and finally decided to do my nurse training in March 2005... ;)
Unfortunately I have been diagnosed with severe endo from my bowel to my ureter (following a laparoscopy in July 2008), I was fobbed off for a total of 17 yrs... Gosh do I brake the record.... with irritable bowel mainly (what a suprise.... ). I joined the Endometriosis Society in 2000 following my first laparoscopy which diagnosed a small amount of endo by the pouch of Douglas but I was told that it wasn't significant enough. I have had a variety of treatments (as they were treating me as if I had endo).
I had my 3rd lap in Sept 2008 to remove the endo and devide the surgical adhesions. The operation took 3 hrs. I felt better instantally. Unfortunately I was told I couldnt have anymore surgery unless its a hysterctomy :(
I also have a bio-curnarette uterus (double uterus) and 2 cervix. Which means if I conceive in the right uterus I will miscarry. I will require a casearean section. At present I have no children and no partner :(
My main interests are photography, shopping and music :)
